OpenStack

The new kid on the block, OpenStack, is a collection of technologies that, when added together, make a solution that rivals any of the bigger virtualization environment providers. 

It can be a virtual machine host, container host, file storage provider, block storage provider, and it has a rapid development cycle that keeps new features constantly coming in.

Unlike the other two solutions on this list, OpenStack is the name given to a few different software components.
