I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
118 Nylon
Nylon is a generic designation for a family of synthetic polymers composed of polyamides (repeating units linked by amide links). Nylon is a thermoplastic silky material, generally made from petroleum, that can be melt-processed into fibers, films, or shapes.
The first nylon (nylon 66) was synthesized by Wallace Hume Carothers in 1935 at DuPont’s research facility at the DuPont Experimental Station. In 1938, Paul Schlack at IG Farben developed nylon 6, a different molecule based on caprolactam.
