I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
123 Phase-Change Materials: Polymer Based
Polymer-based phase-change materials (PCMs) are the polymers that can absorb and release heat by reversible-phase transitions between a (solid) crystalline or semi-crystalline phase and another (solid) amorphous, semi-crystalline, or crystalline phase. They can retain their bulk solid properties within certain temperature ranges and are therefore also referred to as “solid-state” PCMs.
Polyethylene glycol (PEG) and its derivatives are typical polymer-based solid-solid PCMs that are commonly investigated.
Applications:
