I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
133 Photosensitive Polymers
Photosensitive polymers are the kind of polymers that are sensitive to the irradiated light, leading to some change in properties or structure.
Some of the common polymer bases for photosensitive polymers are polyvinyl cinnamate, polyamide (PA), polyisoprene, polyimides, epoxies, acrylics, etc. Usually monomers, oligomers, and additives are used along with these polymers.
Applications:
- Phototherapy Photo-responsive polymers find applications in biology and medicine and can be used for controlled and triggered drug delivery. By incorporating photo-responsive units into polymers, on-demand drug release is triggered by light irradiation.
