One of the big benefits of groups is that you can assign more than one flash to the same group. For example, let’s say you have two flashes lighting the background (one from the left side; one from the right). You could assign both of those flashes to the same group (setting them both to Group C, for example). Now, when you choose Group C on your transmitter and change the power, it affects both flashes at the same time. Same with turning them both on/off at the same time. Super handy.
