If you want to do corporate headshots (or beauty-style headshots), you can use something like the Rapid Box 26" Octa for the main light (really, any small softbox will do) to light your subject (you'll place this directly in front of them, aiming down at a 45° angle, and hopefully, on a boom stand, so you don’t have to work around having a light stand in the center of your shots). Then, have your subject hold a reflector right at their chest level (as seen above left) to fill in the shadows under their eyes and neck. It works wonders.
