If you’re doing 3/4 or full-length shots, and you need to light a really wide roll of seamless, you’ll probably need two flashes, and you can use a setup like you see here, with one flash behind and on either side of your subject, aiming at the background at a 45° angle. If you’re doing full length, you’d see those light stands in the shot, so pull them out off the paper, but aiming in the same way (and, of course, since you’re moving them farther away from the background, you’ll need to turn up the power a bit more, too).
