We’re back to using our flash on top of the camera, but of course, we are not aiming the flash at our subjects—aim it up toward the ceiling, at an angle, to bounce the flash off the ceiling (if the ceiling is low enough), or aim the flash straight upward, and then pull out the white bounce card from the top of your flash head (see page 123). A better option, if you have one, is to, again, put a MagSphere over your flash head to spread and soften the light, but any of these three scenarios will work.
