For real estate photography, you can take a lot of that portrait stuff and throw it out the window—this is an entirely different beast. First, you’re not going to use a softbox at all—you’re going with bare flash heads, and you’ll be working at full power nearly all the time (so bring lots of batteries). I did say “heads” (plural), by the way. While you can do real estate photography with just one flash, it makes it harder to evenly light rooms with just one.
