Flash Tricks

Getting your flash to beg, roll over, and fetch light

You know how we all teach our dogs to do tricks? The whole roll over, fetch, beg thing? Are these actually useful things? Do they really help in our daily lives with our dogs? No. We don’t teach our dogs useful things like, “Go get the mail,” or “Rake the yard,” or “Order a $5 foot-long sub from Subway, and then go pick it up without denting or scratching the car.” Nope, we focus on roll over and beg and stuff. But, let’s look beyond that. Why? Why do we teach our dogs tricks? One reason: so when a friend or relative comes over, you can have your dog do tricks, and they’ll either think the dog is a genius, or you’re a genius for having trained him or her, or hopefully, ...
