I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Awesome Trick for Simple, Clean Backgrounds
This is one of my favorite tricks for getting a perfectly clean, simple background when I’m outdoors on location because, sometimes, finding that clean background is a needle-in-a-haystack thing (it seems like it would be easy finding a simple background, but you’d be surprised). My trick is to get down low (down on one knee, or literally lying on the ground), and that low angle makes the blue sky your background instead (or gray sky, if you live in Pittsburgh. Sorry, couldn’t help myself. Just a joke. Kidding, etc.). Just because you’re down low, though, doesn’t mean you want to position your flash ...
