I cover a wedding using five different setups because I’m shooting in four different places: (1) in the room where the bride is getting ready (often a hotel room); (2) on location, shooting the bridal portraits; (3) in the church, shooting the ceremony itself, and (4) the formals right after the wedding; and (5) the reception. These are easy setups, and I use just one flash for most of it, so don’t let it throw you.
