Adding Color to Your Background

For your second roll of seamless paper, you might want to consider a dark gray or black, because then you can tape a color gel (see previous page) over your flash and completely change the color of the background (see the next page), or you can have a splash of color in the center surrounded by dark gray or black (as seen here), depending on how you choose to light the background. But, I’d start with getting a roll of that dark gray or black.
