Slave Mode Lets You Fire a Second Flash without Wireless

Sometimes you need to set up a quick flash, and you don’t want to mess with any settings—you just want it to fire. That’s when you use Slave mode. When you switch your flash to Slave mode, here’s what you’re telling it: “If you see anything else flash, you fire immediately.” You don’t need to set up a wireless transmitter, or put it in a group, or a channel, or any of that stuff—you put it on Slave mode, it sees a flash, and it fires.
