Chances are your flash came with a frosted white, plastic diffusion cap (sometimes called a diffusion dome) that snaps right on over your flash head (if your flash didn’t come with one, you can buy one that fits your particular make and model of flash—a company named Vello sells ‘em for like 10–12 bucks at B&H Photo).
