Changing the Color of Your Background

One of the big benefits of shooting on a roll of gray seamless paper is how easy it is to completely change the color of the background just by slapping a gel in front of your flash (well, in this case, I used two flashes—one on each side behind my subject, aiming at the gray background). Look how vibrant you can get the color—it’s almost as if you went out and bought a separate roll of bright red paper. You can do this with two tiny gels.
