Don’t make that rookie mistake of setting up a bunch of flashes and turning them all on. If you do a test shot, and the lighting just doesn’t look right, it’s not going to be obvious exactly what it is—you know something’s wrong, but you don’t know what—and I’ve seen a lot of photographers get stuck at this point.
