This is part camera technique and part very simple Photoshop technique (but, don’t worry, I made a video for you on the Photoshop part). First, here’s the problem: You want to light your subject with flash, but you also want to create a wide-angle shot that takes in the environment. Maybe it’s a bride in a big, beautiful church, and you want to frame it so you see the ceiling of the church and the stained-glass windows, but you’d also see the light stand and softbox.
