Solutions Explained

When making changes to a system, organizations typically need to modify entities’ views or forms or modify and add new attributes to the entities (or even add new entities). These changes can be as small as adding or removing a desired field to completely changing how the system works with custom workflows and code. When making a change to the system, these changes are captured in a “package” containing the changes, referred to as a solution. You can have a system that has no custom solutions, and you can have a system that can have many solutions. In addition, solutions can be spread across one another, often times dependent on each other.
