COMMUNICATIONS AND COLLABORATION IN THE NETWORKED ORGANIZATION
Technology facilitates communications and collaboration between organizations, clients, and suppliers to reduce the amount of time needed to develop and produce products and services (DiVanna, 2003). Today’s networked organizations extend traditional organizational boundaries by leveraging communication and collaborative technologies to broaden and speed the transfer of information and knowledge (Pearlson & Saunders, 2006; Willis, 2002).
