SUMMARY
The large-scale OD interventions described in this chapter touch all aspects of the organization, although each of them arises from different needs and demands and targets a specific element of the organization. An important consideration for OD practitioners is to deftly assess what intervention is most appropriate. For example, interventions at the boundary of the organization (such as networks and dynamic strategy-making) will differ from those directed at internal design components (such as sociotechnical or rewards systems).
