SUMMARY
In the HRD audit example discussed above, the process was done with quality and provided good results. The audit process was fast; the entire audit was completed in a matter of four days—one day for planning the LSIP, one day for the LSIP-based audit, and two days for observation, administration of questionnaires to ascertain the knowledge levels of HRD staff, and secondary data analysis. Afterward, some of the top management team members participating were more motivated to improve the state of affairs. The audit results were available to the whole system that participated, so there was a great sense of ownership of the data on the part of the employees.
