SUMMARY
Our friend and colleague, Ken Murrell, once reminded us: “Now are the times that test our soul and they are telling us the world needs even more from us [the OD field]…. Our work is to create other more life-affirming options for humanity and models for how we can learn to move beyond the conflicts and differences and find our greater destiny” (Murrell, 2002, p. 15). With those sentiments as guiding inspiration, we believe that the Systemic Sustainability Framework is an innovative values-based approach to creating sustainable organizations.
