Inclusion of information technology (IT) in the literature and teaching of organization development (OD) is a recent development, and often fails to articulate how OD can benefit from the use of IT in practice (Yaeger & Sorensen, 2006). IT, however, is important to the study and practice of OD as it contributes to the overall performance of organizations and also can support a range of OD initiatives including management development, on-demand learning, and data analysis (Church, Gilbert, Oliver, Paquet, & Surface, 2002).
