When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Guidelines to better managing extroverts
We will now explore guidelines for managing extroverts:
- Check whether what they said is their final decision: Extroverts talk things through, thus what they start off saying may not be their ultimate conclusion but only a step in the process toward clarification. Therefore, do not act on what you think is an instruction until you are sure. It could save you a lot of embarrassment if you check in and find out whether what they have said is their final decision or not.
- Kindly interrupt them: Extroverts presume you have nothing to say if you are not contributing to the conversation thus, they keep going but wish that you would add your contribution. Meanwhile, if you are an introvert, you may be sitting ...
