So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Status Bar
If you like, you can add a status bar to all your windows that tells you how many items are in an open window. The bar also tells you how much disk space is available, how your icons are arranged, as well as the sharing status (for more information on sharing, see Chapter 34).
This bar also tells you how much empty space you have left on this hard disk.
To add the status bar to all windows in all views:
1. | Open any Finder window.

2. | From the “View” menu, choose “Show Status Bar.”
