I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
There’s one more place . . .
There is one more place where any user can install fonts, and that’s in Mac OS 9. If you use a lot of Classic applications (applications that have not been rewritten yet to work in Mac OS X), you can install fonts as usual into the Fonts folder inside the System Folder (or use your favorite font manager).
Classic applications cannot access the Mac OS X fonts—the applications call on the fonts that are installed in the Mac OS 9 System Folder or from your font manager, if you use one.
If you’re a Type Hawg, like me, and have so many fonts that you use a font manager such as ATM Deluxe, Extensis Suitcase, Alsoft MasterJuggler Pro, or DiamondSoft’s Font Reserve, you can still use those managers just fine with your Classic ...
