Once you have selected a file or two or more, you can move them to another place on your Mac. When you move a file, it’s just like moving something in your kitchen—the thing is no longer in the position you took it from. That is, moving does exactly what it says—it does not leave a copy behind.
To MOVE a file or files from one place to another:
1. | First make sure you can see the files you want to move and the folder or window you want to move them into.
