Mounting and Unmounting
You may hear talk of mounting and unmounting disks, rather than inserting and ejecting them. The terms mount and unmount refer to hard disks (internal or external), removable hard disks such as Zips and Jaz, CDs and DVDs, as well as floppies, if you have a floppy drive.
It is possible and very common to have more than one hard disk attached to your computer. You probably have removable hard disks that you insert into a cartridge drive sort of like inserting a video tape into a VCR (Zip or Jaz).
