I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Mounting and Unmounting
You may hear talk of mounting and unmounting disks, rather than inserting and ejecting them. The terms mount and unmount refer to hard disks (internal or external), removable hard disks such as Zips and Jaz, CDs and DVDs, as well as floppies, if you have a floppy drive.
It is possible and very common to have more than one hard disk attached to your computer. You probably have removable hard disks that you insert into a cartridge drive sort of like inserting a video tape into a VCR (Zip or Jaz). But even though that hard disk is attached to the computer or you have inserted a disk into a drive, that does not guarantee that its icon will show up on the screen.
