Finder Menu
Most of the items you see in the Finder menu also appear in every program’s application menu, which is what this actually is—it’s the Finder’s application menu. For instance, when you open the application Grab, there is a “Grab” menu that has these same menu items. When you open Internet Connect, there is an “Internet Connect” menu that has these same items. So below are explanations of these items that you will see in every program.
About The Finder: This gives you a small commercial about whatever application you’re in. It might tell you who created it and when, and usually provides the “version number” of the software (every time software is improved and updated, it gets a new version number).
