It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Internet Connect
If you connect to the Internet through a telephone modem, then you’ll use Internet Connect to tell your modem to dial up your service provider and connect you. This is explained in detail in Chapter 30. If you have an “always on” broadband connection to the Internet, such as cable, DSL, ISDN, satellite, or T1 line, you won’t ever need to use Internet Connect.
