Chapter 11. Selecting, Moving, and Copying Files

You’ll often need to move files around to rearrange them. And copying files is an everyday task. You may need to copy a small utility from its original disk onto your hard disk; copy a report to give to a coworker; copy a document and its graphics to take to a service bureau for high-resolution printing; create the ever-necessary backup copy; etc., etc., etc.

Copying files usually involves moving them, and before you can move or copy any file, you must first select it.
