Making Favorites

There are several ways to create Favorites. Which one you choose depends on what you are selecting as a Favorite and where you are. Below is a list of techniques.

To make a Favorite using the menu command:

1.	Select a file in a Finder window or on the Desktop (click once on it).
2.	From the File menu, choose “Add to Favorites.”

To make a Favorite using the keyboard shortcut:

1.	Select a file in a Finder window or on the Desktop (click once on it).
2.	Press Command T.

To make a Favorite of a file using drag-and-drop:

1.	Open any Finder window and make sure the Toolbar is visible, with the Favorites icon showing.
2.	Drag a file from any Finder window or the Desktop and drop it on the Favorites icon in any window Toolbar, ...
