Chess

Chess is just what it appears to be—an electronic chess game between you and the computer, or you can watch the computer play against itself. From the Window menu in Chess, you can choose to play on a three-dimensional or two-dimensional board, as shown on the opposite page.

Before you begin a game, get the Chess Preferences (from the Chess menu) and determine how difficult you want the game to be, who is playing and what color you each have, and whether to use speech recognition or not. You can’t change these settings once you begin a game.
