If you want to know all about the Save As dialog box and how to use it, read on. It will give you more control over where you are saving files. It’s not as scary as it looks. Drag the bottom-right corner of the dialog box to enlarge it so you can see more of the directory at once.

Your document will be saved into whichever folder or disk is shown in the Where menu (2), which at the moment is the Documents folder.
You see the Documents folder is selected (3), and the contents of the Documents folder (4) are in the far-right column.
This tells you that, as it is right now, your saved file will go inside the Documents ...
