When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chat with Several Buddies at Once
A Chat Room is different from an Instant or Direct Message in that you can have a number of people around the world in the same “room” (which looks amazingly like an Instant Message window) all chatting at once. Here are your options:
You can create a new Chat Room with a unique name and invite a large number of people to join you. Mac.com members, AOL members, and AIM users can all be invited into the Chat Room. (The limit in America Online is 23 people in a room, but I am not sure what the limit is in iChat.) Caps and lowercase don’t matter when typing the name of a new Chat Room.
You can join an existing Chat Room that another Mac.com member has created if you know the exact name of the room. (You cannot join ...
