Favorites or Bookmarks
As you wander around the web, you’ll run across web sites you really like and want to come back to. For these sites, make a Favorite (Internet Explorer) or Bookmark (Netscape and OmniWeb). Once you have a bookmark, the title of the page shows up in your Favorites or Bookmarks menu and you can just choose it from that menu.
As you make lots of bookmarks, you’ll need to organize them. Below you see a neatly organized Favorites menu.
The Favorites in Internet Explorer have nothing to do with your Favorites folder or Favorites in general on the Mac.
