Changing the Name of a Folder
If you accidentally un-highlight the new folder before you change its name, or if you want to change the name of any other folder (or any icon of any sort), it is still very easy to do: simply click once on the name and the icon will change color, the name will highlight, and a border will appear around the name. The border and highlight are visual clues that whatever you type will replace the current title. So go ahead and type the new name while you see the border.
Use standard word processing procedures (Chapter 13) to type the new name: press-and-drag to select text; click to insert an insertion point; backspace to delete characters, etc. Hit the UpArrow to move the insertion point to the beginning of the name, ...
