Determine Variances

Compare the status reported with the project baseline. Note all differences, both beneficial and adverse. Positive variances may provide options for project acceleration, and even small negative variances deserve your prompt attention while they are still manageable. Determine the overall effect of any changes, issues, problems, and risks to the project schedule and budget.
