Identify Potential Suppliers

Based on solicitation planning, determine how to identify suppliers who will be interested in your work and capable of following through. Review lists of known suppliers, looking especially for those who have succeeded in the past. Use your personal network to discover what others are doing, both in your organization and in other places where you know peers through past work or professional association. To find a sufficient number of qualified respondents, it may be necessary to advertise, post information on the WWW, or involve specialists to locate suppliers. List the potential responders, including the individuals involved if they are known.
