When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Upgrade Enhancements
There are a number of upgrade enhancements when upgrading from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010, such as the ability to maintain the existing 2007 look and feel post upgrade until any custom master pages and CSS files have been upgraded to comply with 2010 standards. There are two options available when upgrading, including an in-place upgrade in which an existing SharePoint 2007 installation is upgraded to SharePoint 2010. The other option is a database attach upgrade, which involves backing up an existing SharePoint 2007 content database, detaching it, and then reattaching and associating it to a SharePoint 2010 Web application.
