Although list items must be entered via the Web interface, you can upload documents to document libraries when working in SharePoint Designer. However, you cannot do this via the library settings page. Instead, you must access the All Files tab in the left-hand navigation pane and then select the relevant document library from the right-hand pane. This opens the contents of the current library in the right-hand pane and adds other document libraries to the base of the left-hand navigation pane, as shown in Figure 10.33.
