The Save and Cancel buttons on custom list forms are drawn from the form template located on the SharePoint Web front-end server, discussed earlier in this chapter, and are not customizable. For example, the Form Action command in the ribbon’s Actions group remains disabled when the Save button is selected, as shown in Figure 25.63.

By deleting the default Save button and inserting a Form Action Button from the SharePoint Controls, Data View Controls ribbon option, shown in Figure 25.64, you are able to customize and style the button.
