It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Overriding Existing SharePoint Styles
Up until now, this chapter has shown you how to work with and modify existing CSS, along with how to discover CSS using browser tools. In this section, you employ techniques described earlier in this chapter to override some of the more common SharePoint styles, including navigation and ribbon styles. Let’s start by overriding styles to affect the look and feel of the ribbon and top-level navigation.
