In this chapter, you learned about some of the key administrative features when working with SharePoint 2010 sites. You learned about the differences between Site Settings and Site Collection Settings and how to access and manage other administrative site features including site permissions and features specific to a site’s look and feel. More importantly, you learned how to set a site to anonymous access and work with lists and library permissions in an anonymous site. This is of particular interest when you begin to work with deploying and managing customizations and design in public-facing SharePoint sites.
