So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Configuring the Toolbox SqlDataSource Control
This section covers how to create a new SqlDataSource control from the ASP.NET Controls section of the Toolbox task pane and create a new connection to an SQL database.
To create a new SQL connection using the Toolbox task pane’s SqlDataSource command, use the following steps:
1. With your site open in SharePoint Designer, click the File tab. On the File page, click the Add Item left-hand menu item and then, under Pages, click New Page from Master. Click the v4.master page and then click the Create button.
