It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Adding Flash to Pages in SharePoint Designer
This section explains how to add a compiled Flash file (SWF) to a SharePoint page using SharePoint Designer.
Note
By default, SharePoint 2010 has restrictions on displaying certain files, including HTML and Flash (SWF) files (see Chapter 12, “Working with Content Pages in SharePoint Designer”.) In order to display and run those files in SharePoint, you need to set the Web application’s Browser File Handling setting to Permissive. To do this, open Central Administration, locate your Web application, and select General Settings.
With your site open in SharePoint Designer, create a new ASPX page with master; for the sake of this exercise, select the v4.master page.
