So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Moving and Exporting Custom Actions
Unlike Features, which are physically stored on the SharePoint Web front-end server, custom actions created in SharePoint Designer 2010 are stored in the SharePoint content database in the CustomActions table and are specific to the list or document library where they were created. If you plan to move lists and document libraries then you should also consider any custom actions you might have created as part of those lists and document libraries.
