Cross-site Collection List Lookup Using SOAP
A powerful feature of working with data sources in SharePoint Designer is in the ability to use Web services to access and retrieve data from other site collections. In this section, you use the SOAP Web service to retrieve all Announcement items from another site collection.
Use the following steps to configure cross-site collection data retrieval and presentation.
