So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Types of Workflow
In SharePoint there are three different types of workflows:
• Reusable workflows/content type workflows
In previous versions of SharePoint you were limited to the types of workflow you could create. The other limitation was being able to reuse or redeploy workflows in a supported way. There was no way for a user to copy a workflow between lists or libraries or upgrade a workflow from SharePoint Designer to Visual Studio without the assistance of a developer.

To be able to deploy workflows to SharePoint you need the appropriate permissions. This requirement changes depending on the type of workflow you want to deploy and where you want to deploy it. Table 27.1 outlines the required permissions. ...
